Joyland Boys’ Secondary School is an independent, non-profit educational institution committed to expanding access to quality secondary education in Tanzania. The school supports the intellectual, social, physical, spiritual and moral development of every student within a disciplined and caring academic environment.
Located in Hai District in the Kilimanjaro Region, approximately 28 kilometres from Moshi, Joyland prepares young men for further education, employment, self-employment and responsible service within society.
The school is owned and operated by the Apostolic Life Community of Priests in the Opus Spiritus Sancti, ALCP/OSS.

Joyland follows the Tanzania Institute of Education secondary-school curriculum introduced in 2023. Its educational approach centres practical learning, personal formation and four essential twenty-first-century skills.
The school combines national curriculum requirements with practical skills, technology-supported learning and strong personal formation. Students are prepared not only for examinations, but also for higher education, employment, entrepreneurship and responsible participation in society.

Joyland was established to increase access to quality secondary education and create stronger pathways toward further study, employment and self-employment. The school seeks to make disciplined, future-focused education accessible to families from different social and economic backgrounds, with particular concern for children from economically disadvantaged families.
